CHANGE A CHILD'S STORY
ABOUT CASA
Instead of playing with neighbors and making happy family memories, children in Scott County are attending court hearings, adjusting to new foster homes, and transitioning to new schools.
That’s a heavy burden for a child to carry. With a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer dedicated to their case, America’s most vulnerable children will have someone speaking up for their best interests. With your support, more children will have the opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home.

When I found out I was being moved to a new placement, I asked [my CASA] Paula to come with me because I trusted her and felt safe with her. Paula did come with me, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt safe before leaving. When she did leave, Paula promised that she would stay in contact and told me that it was a good placement for me and that she would always be there for me.
